- Free software: Free software foundation Europe
- Linux. especially Debian and Ubuntu distros
- Emacs. The only true editor
- Clojure. A nice programming language with wonderful roots and a bright future ahead.
- No software patents. A program is a way to express algorithms, which are not patentable by the Bern convention. Then why should you want to patent a program?
- Open formats. A necessary foundation if you are building a system for the future.
